What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage inbound and outbound calls, averaging 50-60 calls per day
- Follow approved standard operating procedures to resolve denied claims
- Evaluate current policies and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Handle sensitive information confidentially and accurately document all accounts
- Communicate with physicians, insurance companies, and patients to verify eligibility and claim status
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of work experience required
- Previous call center and customer service experience strongly preferred
- Previous medical experience strongly preferred
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare-related customer service role
- Ability to meet deadlines and exercise critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology and billing processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
