Job Summary:
The Milliken Summer Intern position gives rising university juniors or seniors an opportunity to work on a significant process improvement project in a manufacturing environment. This position is located at the Milliken Cushman Plant. You will report directly to a manager – either a Senior Process Engineer or Process Improvement Manager. The position is hourly paid. The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. The summer intern program begins in mid-May and ends the first of August.

Qualifications – Required:

• Rising junior or senior at a university
• Working towards a BS degree
• Able to participate in the Summer Challenge Forum during the first week of June in Spartanburg, SC
• Able to participate in our final presentation review – date TBD

Qualifications- Preferred:

• Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Textile engineering major
• Efficient in PowerPoint and excel spreadsheets
• GPA – 3.0 minimum
• Able to start work on or before May 25th
