University of Phoenix is seeking a College Curriculum Manager to connect the College of Business & IT with the centralized curriculum development team. You will plan, direct, and coordinate curriculum updates and related activities to align with academic standards and the university’s mission.

The role involves coordinating staff, managing workflows, and ensuring timely delivery of updated curricular materials, learning objectives, and competency maps.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Two (2) years of experience in a post-secondary higher education academic environment.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a liaison between a college and the centralized curriculum development team to facilitate curriculum updates and projects by planning, directing and coordinating related activities.
• Directly or indirectly manage and coordinate activities of staff, to ensure activities progress in scale and within prescribed budget.
• Collaborate with centralized curriculum development team to help develop and revise curricular materials, including competency mapping, learning objectives, and other relevant documentation.
• Influence and indirectly manage subject matter experts and curriculum development groups, to expedite the update of courses and content.
• Assist instructional designers and other team members with the building and publication of courses in the LMS, including troubleshooting and providing support and/or consultation.
• Manage instructional development and editing processes by providing feedback from the College perspective to assist the curriculum development team to make needed adjustments.
• Prepare project reports for management or external parties by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends related to curriculum.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline

Two (2) years of experience in a post-secondary higher education academic environment
