Job summary

New York City Urban Debate League seeks a Coordinator, Programming: Curriculum, Professional Learning & Dream Team to support curriculum creation, professional learning programs, and the Dream Team travel for national tournaments.

The role includes leading weekly Forensics Fridays, coordinating coach training, and facilitating topic-focused PD opportunities with external experts. In-person with some remote days, 40–50 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in speech and debate programs is required.
• Familiarity with tournament software (Tabroom.com), cloud tools (Google Workspace, Office 365) and AV equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain debate curriculum for Public Forum and Parliamentary formats across programs.
• Collaborate with coaches to adapt lesson plans and materials for Open League, Districts, and NYC Reads.
