Job summary

Celeste Beauty Academy, Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Curriculum Development & Instructional Readiness Consultant to design a standards-aligned instructional framework for high school and cosmetology pathways ahead of the August 2027 opening.

You will partner with the Executive Director, Founding Principal, and CTE teams to produce a deliverable-based curriculum plan, course sequences, and assessment strategies that support career-readiness and licensing preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, curriculum and instruction, instructional design, educational leadership, or a related field.
• Experience developing or aligning K-12 curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum mapping, standards alignment, scope and sequence, pacing, instructional resources, and assessment design.
• Ability to manage multiple curriculum workstreams against firm deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school leadership and instructional staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify all required courses for Grades 9–12 aligned to NC standards.
• Map courses across Grades 9–12 and develop curriculum frameworks.
• Support development of assessment strategies and pacing guides.
• Collaborate with Executive Director, Founding Principal, CTE staff and EC/MLL teams.
• Document workflows and create reusable curriculum templates.
