Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders and deliver a smooth pickup experience. You’ll quickly and accurately pick items, greet customers, and coordinate with store teams to ensure right-on-time pickups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable curbside service to customers.
• Fulfill online curbside orders accurately and collect payment when required.
• Greet customers politely in person and over the phone and address questions.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly following safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
