Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders quickly and accurately, delivering an easy pickup experience from start to finish.

You’ll greet customers, handle payments, coordinate with store teams, and maintain cleanliness of the curbside area while following safety and procedures.

Training is provided; a service mindset and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill online curbside orders accurately and quickly, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.
• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area and assist customers on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
