Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders accurately and efficiently, delivering a smooth pickup experience from start to finish.

You’ll greet customers warmly, handle item selection and payment, and coordinate with store leadership to resolve any issues while keeping the curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup. Training will be provided to build onboarding success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You can perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow from a dashboard and fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
