Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill customer online curbside orders accurately and efficiently. You’ll provide a smooth pickup experience, greet customers warmly, and work with store leadership to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes quick learning of new technologies, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset. Prior retail or cashier experience is preferred, with physical tasks such as lifting and standing required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable curbside pickup service through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
