Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders and deliver a smooth pickup experience. You’ll greet customers, verify items, and work with leadership to resolve questions, while staying organized and detail-oriented.

You’ll join a family-oriented retailer that values growth, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. Prior experience in retail or cashier roles is a plus, and you’ll receive training to learn new technologies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill online curbside orders accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers and respond to questions.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and team.
• Resolve concerns by partnering with leadership.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders.
• Scan/verify products and bag items according to standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean and ready for next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
