Job summary

Meijer in Goshen, Indiana is hiring a Digital Clerk who will turn online curbside orders into accurate, on-time pickups. You’ll greet customers, verify items, and collect payment, delivering a smooth, friendly experience from start to finish.

If you enjoy staying active, working with technology, and a service mindset, this role trains you quickly. Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
