Meijer Inc. is hiring a Digital Clerk for curbside pickup in Goshen, IN. The role focuses on turning online orders into fast, accurate, “right-on-time” pickups with friendly customer service at the curbside area.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills. Training will be provided; prior retail and cashier experience is a plus, with flexible scheduling and a focus on team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing) for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill a customer’s online curbside order accurately and quickly.
• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area.
• Greet customers with courtesy in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly with leadership support when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during shift.
• Select items, scan/verify, and bag items using standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly following food safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean and ready for next pickup.
• Assist with other store tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
