Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to turn online orders into easy, reliable curbside pickups. You'll greet customers, verify items, bag orders, and ensure accurate fulfillment while following food safety and store standards. The role emphasizes friendly service, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced curbside environment.

No prior online ordering experience is required; training will be provided. High school diploma and strong communication skills are preferred, with at least 1 year of retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail or cashier experience.
• Detail-oriented, organized and dependable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at curbside pickup through accurate fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers courteously in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly with leadership support.
• Receive daily workflow via dashboard and fulfill orders during shift.
• Select items, scan/verify, and bag items using standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean and ready for next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
