Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders, ensuring quick and accurate pickup experiences for customers. The role focuses on friendly, efficient service at the curbside pickup area, greeting customers, and maintaining orderly, safe processes.

You’ll work with the team to meet daily order goals, learn store systems, and help keep the curbside area prepared for the next pickup. Prior retail or cashier experience is helpful, and strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers and team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
