Meijer is seeking a Curbside and Pickup Lead at our West Lafayette, IN store to drive exceptional customer service and efficient curbside operations. You will guide teammates, manage daily tasks, and coach talent to meet sales and service goals while upholding Meijer standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to safe, accurate operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead and influence peers.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move product.

Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best possible shopping experience and checkout flow.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Support training of new team members and cross-training of high-potential talent.
• Assist leadership with department scheduling and staffing.
• Ensure product freshness through proper rotation and dating.
• Guide team on food safety standards and safe operations.
• Lead in ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and product display as needed.
• Foster an inclusive Meijer culture including DEI values.
• Operate a register and handle cash as required.
• Operate powered equipment where applicable.
• Participate in period-end inventories to meet goals.
• May act as Lead in other departments when required.
