Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Digital Clerk to turn online orders into quick, accurate curbside pickups. You’ll greet customers, fulfill items, and collect payment at the carside area, delivering a friendly, efficient experience.

This role emphasizes strong communication, the ability to learn new technologies, and teamwork with store leadership. A high school diploma and retail experience are preferred, along with physical stamina for lifting and standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide service at the curbside pickup through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
