Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Part-time Digital Clerk for curbside pickup to fulfill online orders with speed and accuracy. You will greet customers, assist via phone, and ensure a smooth car-side experience, while maintaining the curbside area.

Training will cover new technologies and procedures; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus. The role emphasizes a service mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks. Competitive pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill online curbside orders accurately and quickly.
• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers courteously in person and on the phone and respond to questions.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Scan/verify products, bag items per standards, and store orders correctly.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
