Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a dedicated team member to support daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service in Bowling Green, KY. You will engage customers, manage daily tasks, and help teammates achieve sales goals while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and engagement with customers and peers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to influence others and build rapport with customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to provide the best possible shopping experience.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Assist with training and cross-training of staff to boost productivity.
• Support department scheduling to improve service and store profitability.
• Help ensure product freshness by monitoring rotation and dating policies.
• Lead by example to follow safety standards and procedures.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and displays where applicable.
• Contribute to Meijer culture and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Operate a register and basic cash handling as needed.
