• Communicating with team members and assigning daily work tasks.
• Mentoring and coaching other team members to exceed sales goals and meet Meijer standards.
• Supports training new team members and cross-training high-potential talent.
• Assist leadership with department scheduling to focus on engagement, service, and store profitability.
• Ensure freshness of products by monitoring rotation and dating policies.
• Guide the team in food safety and safe operations.
• Lead tasks for ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and displays as applicable.
• Foster Meijer culture by valuing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
