Job summary

Pennsylvania Horticultural Society seeks a Healthy Neighborhoods Specialist to drive curbside improvement projects across 10 Philadelphia blocks. You will engage residents, coordinate with block captains, and support contractors to ensure high-quality installations.

You will manage project work plans, track progress using Monday.com, and help organize community events while reporting to leadership. A strong communicator with pastoral attention to detail will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience with Community Engagement and/or working with Philadelphia block captains.
• Strong project management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and calendar tools.
• Ability to coordinate across teams and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communications with block captains and residents across 10 blocks in the program.
• Manage the shared inbox and respond to resident questions.
• Visit blocks during/after installations to ensure quality and address questions.
• Organize annual neighborhood events and Spring Refresh activities.
• Use Monday.com to track installation projects and generate weekly reports for leadership.
• Assist assessments to determine eligibility, create work scopes, and assign contractors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
• Evaluate program outcomes and suggest process improvements to boost engagement.
