• Assist department scheduling to improve engagement, service, sales and profitability.
• Ensure freshness of products by monitoring rotation and dating policies.
• Guide team on food safety standards and safe working practices.
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing and product displays where applicable.
• Foster Meijer culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Operate a register and handle cash when needed.
• Operate powered equipment where applicable.
• Participate in period end inventories to aid goal achievement.
• May act in Lead capacity in other departments as needed.
