Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Default Title Curative Specialist to facilitate clearance of title defects in default, foreclosure, REO matters. You will evaluate title searches, identify defects, and determine curative actions per investor guidelines, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5+ years of title, curative, default mortgage servicing, or financial services experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Curative, REO, or Foreclosure experience preferred.
• Familiarity with BKFS LoanSphere FC/BK (LPS) platform preferred.

Responsibilities

• Title Review & Evaluation: Intake and evaluate title curative referrals for accuracy, completeness, and validity.
• Curative Resolution & Case Management: Manage curative matters including filing title insurance claims and coordinating litigation.
• Client & Vendor Coordination: Communicate with clients, vendors, and title companies; ensure SLAs are met.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records and status updates.
