Job summary

You will supervise start-up and shutdown procedures, collect samples, document results, and coordinate with operators and maintenance to resolve issues promptly on either 1st or 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience operating a Cupola furnace or similar equipment in a heavy industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of cupola operations, including chemistry adjustments, slag management, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and regulate cupola furnace parameters, including temperature and slag flow.
• Oversee start-up and shutdown procedures, including tapping, ramming, and bottom-dropping processes.
