Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the team responsible for receiving, stocking, and merchandising merchandise according to planograms, promotions, and standards while upholding our culture of integrity and musical passion.

The role requires 3+ years in retail or warehouse, valid driver's license, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a loud environment, weekends, holidays, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in retail or warehouse setting.
• Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work in a loud environment and weekends, holidays, and evenings; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team accountable for receiving, stocking, and merchandising merchandise according to planograms, promotions, and standards.
• Partner with Store Manager to achieve EBITDA, sales, and margin goals.
• Assist in training all levels of operations associates.
• Oversee shipping and receiving of gear and store items; maintain warehouse organization.
• Manage loss prevention and safety, inventory, and business reporting.
• Conduct signage/pricing audits weekly to ensure planogram compliance.
• Open and close the store and drive sales when needed.
