  • Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with Alaska Native and American Indian students to support academic learning and social-emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers to lead project-based learning and supplement in-class instruction.
  • Provide small-group instruction and remedial support; monitor student progress.
  • Support with culturally based activities and family engagement events.
  • Promote home-school connections through community nights, book fairs, and parent-teacher activities.
  • Maintain safety and positive behavior in classrooms, lunchrooms, libraries, and gym.
