Job summary

Goldbelt Heritage Foundation in Juneau, Alaska seeks a Culture & Arts Program Coordinator to support the Alaska Native Education Program grant project “Haa At.oowu Haa Kusteeyix Sitee” through July 2027. You will coordinate grant-funded cultural programming, collaborate with artists and community partners, and support broader culture & arts activities.

The role requires organizing, communication, and coordination across teams, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in arts administration, cultural studies, education, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of program coordination, arts administration, or related work.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Valid Alaska driver's license.
Knowledge of Tlingit cultures and ability to integrate traditional knowledge into programming.
Experience drafting and managing contracts, MOAs, MOUs is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate grant-funded cultural and arts programming, including planning and execution.
Logistics for workshops, classes, trainings, and community events.
Assist with traditional arts programming and cultural practices.
Track timelines, deliverables, and reporting to ensure grant objectives are met.
Coordinate after-school programs, cultural camps, and youth workshops.
Maintain records, communications, and coordination across departments.
