Job summary

Goldbelt Heritage Foundation in Juneau, Alaska seeks a Culture & Arts Program Coordinator to support the Alaska Native Education Program grant project “Haa At.oowu Haa Kusteeyix Sitee” through July 2027. You will coordinate grant-funded cultural programming, collaborate with artists and community partners, and support broader culture & arts activities.

The role requires organizing, communication, and coordination across teams, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in arts administration, cultural studies, education, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of program coordination, arts administration, or related work.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Valid Alaska driver's license.
  • Knowledge of Tlingit cultures and ability to integrate traditional knowledge into programming.
  • Experience drafting and managing contracts, MOAs, MOUs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate grant-funded cultural and arts programming, including planning and execution.
  • Logistics for workshops, classes, trainings, and community events.
  • Assist with traditional arts programming and cultural practices.
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and reporting to ensure grant objectives are met.
  • Coordinate after-school programs, cultural camps, and youth workshops.
  • Maintain records, communications, and coordination across departments.
