Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, healthcare, public health, social sciences, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• At least 2 years coordinating programs for youth or in healthcare/education fields.
• Demonstrated ability to work with Alaska Native communities and diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data tracking/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver program activities, workshops, and events focused on healthcare career exploration.
• Develop schedules and coordinate curricula implementation and experiential learning opportunities (e.g., job shadowing, internships, mentorship).
• Recruit, mentor, and support high school students in the program.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local schools, healthcare providers, tribal organizations, tribes, and higher education institutions.
• Monitor program performance to ensure grant compliance; collect and report data for evaluation; assist with reports and budgets.
• Collaborate with Elders and cultural experts to reflect Tlingit traditions in programming.
