Job summary

Goldbelt Heritage Foundation seeks a Project Coordinator to implement a grant-funded program for high school youth focused on healthcare career exploration in the Juneau area. You will work with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to build pathways to postsecondary training and employment, under supervision of the Youth & Education Program Manager.

This 100% grant-funded position ends with active funding; the grant is scheduled to end in July 2028.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, healthcare, public health, social sciences, or related field.
At least 2 years coordinating programs for youth or in healthcare/education fields.
Ability to track program data and report outcomes.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, implement, and evaluate grant-funded program activities and events.
Recruit, mentor, and support high school students; provide culturally responsive guidance.
Build partnerships with local schools, healthcare providers, tribal organizations, and higher education.
Monitor grant performance, collect data for evaluation, and assist with budgets and sustainability planning.
Collaborate with Elders and cultural experts to reflect Tlingit traditions in programming.
