Job summary

Vireo Health seeks an energetic Cultivation Technician II to join their growing team in Minnesota. You will manage plant health, nutrition, pest control, and substrate monitoring to produce clean, potent cannabis for patients.

Reports to the Cultivation Manager and works as part of a collaborative team. You'll perform daily plant inspections, record data, assist with equipment and feed systems, and adhere to IPM schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in horticulture, botany, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of biology and chemistry related to plant growth and nutrition.
• Knowledge of basic computer and office equipment operations (inventory systems; Word; Excel).
• Weekend availability as needed.
• Knowledge of plant tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment inside cultivation areas.
• Follow state regulations for cannabis cultivation operations.
• Record cultural practices and crop logs as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain and calibrate cultivation equipment and feedlines.
• Inspect plants daily for pests, disease, deficiencies, and growth issues.
• Perform substrate readings and monitor VWC and EC levels.
• Execute IPM schedules and pest/disease control methods as directed.
• Support daily cultivation tasks, including weekend shifts when needed.
