Job summary

Vireo in Otsego, MN, is hiring a Cultivation Technician II to join a growing team focused on producing high-quality medical cannabis. You will be responsible for plant health, nutrition, pest control, and substrate monitoring, providing daily care from seed to clone to harvest.

The role supports the Cultivation Manager and requires maintaining clean, safe conditions, following state regulations, and documenting cultural practices and crop logs.

• Ability to follow schedules, maintain clean and safe work practices, and operate cultivation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment inside the cultivation and surrounding areas.
• Follow all State mandated regulations pertaining to the cultivation of cannabis operations.
• Maintain accurate record of cultural practices and crop-related logs as assigned.
• Use and maintain tools and equipment safely (shop vacuums, pumps, hoses, pruners, scissors, etc.).
• Develop working knowledge of equipment within grow spaces (irrigation, fans, lighting, BMS).
• Inspections of plants to identify pests, disease, deficiencies and report findings to management.
• Daily substrate readings and measurements; implement feeding and care schedules.
• Monitor VWC and EC before and after feeds; adhere to IPM schedule; execute sprays and root drenches as directed.
• Care for crop from seed to clone to harvest; weekend shifts may be required.
