This role primarily involves assisting with all Cultivation operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Complete any work assigned during scheduled shifts.
2. Support the management team to ensure cultivation duties are completed efficiently and timely, following company SOPs.
3. Assist with essential Cultivation operations, with responsibilities expanding over time.
4. Daily tasks include plant work such as big leaf and bottom stripping in flower rooms, seed-to-sale tracking, cleaning, and disposing of used media.
5. Weekly tasks include spot cleaning, flipping flower blocks, consolidating trays, planting coco cubes, watering, and light maintenance.
6. Monthly duties involve harvesting, applying predatory insects, monitoring IPM, inventory counts, safety meetings, cloning, and rotating mother plants.
7. Follow all operational guidelines, safety protocols, and GMP/GACP standards.
8. Perform other duties as qualified and assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy, Plant Biology, or related field, or at least 2 years of cultivating experience, or registered as a Pharmacy Technician in Virginia.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Knowledge of large-scale plant cultivation, including nutrients, media, lighting, temperature, and airflow.
• Experience with compliance systems.
• Advanced knowledge of cannabis plants and genetics.
• Accountability, proactive attitude, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic math skills.
• Understanding of applicable laws and regulations regarding cannabis.
• Ability to work independently and with standard office equipment and software.
• Effective teamwork skills with employees, management, and inspectors.
