New Hampshire Job Corps seeks a reliable Food Service Assistant to join our dining team in Manchester. You will help fuel our campus by assisting with food prep, maintaining a sparkling dining facility, and mentoring Work-Based Learning students.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service operations, or a culinary certificate/degree, is highly preferred.
• Ability to obtain a local Food Handling/Health Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support Kitchen Operations: Help prepare meals by washing, peeling, and coring fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Manage Inventory & Setup: Transfer food, supplies, and equipment safely between storage and kitchen areas, and set up dining tables and chairs.
• Maintain Top-Tier Sanitation: Clear, wash, and sanitize dishes, pots, kitchen equipment, floors, and food storage spaces to maintain perfect health standards.
• Provide Excellent Service: Deliver friendly, superior customer service to our students and staff every single day.
• Mentor Student Helpers: Supervise and mentor Job Corps Work-Based Learning students assigned to the kitchen, helping them develop professional habits.
