Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a Food Service Supervisor to ensure food, supplies and equipment are available and properly stored, and to assist in meal preparation.

You will supervise Job Corps Work-Based Learning students, maintain sanitation, mentor students to uphold Career Success Standards, and coordinate with staff to deliver high-quality services in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role emphasizes safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Local Food Handling/Health Certification required.
• Experience in a food services operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food, supplies and equipment are available and stored properly.
• Assist in the preparation of food for meals and kitchen clean-up.
• Supervise Job Corps Work-Based Learning students in the department.
• Transfer food, supplies and equipment between storage areas and kitchen/cafeteria.
• Maintain sanitation of the kitchen, cafeteria area and storage areas.
• Clean and sanitize refrigerators, stoves, ovens and other equipment; clean floors.
• Provide superior customer service and maintain productivity.
• Plan, prioritize and organize assignments to meet goals and deadlines.
• Mentor and model Career Success Standards; enforce policy with students.
