Job summary

Levy, at Spectrum Center, is seeking a Suites Clubs Culinary Supervisor to lead a cooks’ shift, ensure quality food production and maintain safety standards for events and service periods.

The role requires directing the culinary team, coordinating with leadership, and upholding HACCP and service level expectations. This position offers a dynamic environment within a major sports venue and entails strong emphasis on food safety, portion control and timely production.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a group of cooks during worked shift.
• Provides clear direction to culinary team members during assigned shifts to ensure timely execution, quality standards and operational priorities are met.
• Monitors team performance and communicates coaching needs, attendance concerns or policy violations to culinary leadership.
• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portioning, temperature, presentation and taste.
• Ensures stations are stocked, labeled and ready for service according to menu and production requirements.
• Maintains proper presentation, portion control and safe serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Uses established ticket procedures and maintains service area records.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies.
• Keeps kitchen clean and stores excess food per safety procedures.
• Verifies cleaning and food safety tasks before shift end.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment; reports maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers.
• Adheres to company policies including appearance, schedule adherence, and glove/mitt usage.
