Shell Point Retirement Community in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Supervisor to oversee food production and staff in our skilled nursing facility. You will help prepare high-quality meals, ensure safe food handling, and support the Executive Chef with menu development and cost control.

Ideal candidates will have culinary experience, strong supervisory and customer service skills, and a proven ability to manage inventory and sanitation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-service restaurant experience
• Two years of supervisory experience in a food production environment
• Culinary degree preferred
• Strong supervisory and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee food production staff and assist with food preparation in the skilled nursing facility.
• Develop menus with the Executive Chef and manage food and labor costs.
• Maintain inventory, sanitation standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Train and motivate kitchen staff; assist with scheduling and reporting.
• Handle menu costing, process improvements, and emergency food preparation as needed.
