Job summary

StoryPoint Group is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef in managing culinary and dining operations within our senior living communities. Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef in hiring, coaching and performance management for culinary operations
• Directly supervise all culinary staff
• Assist in managing and training culinary and dining personnel
• Supervise staff regarding product quality, portions, cost controls, scheduling and staffing
• Ensure quality of food through tasting and plate presentation
• Assist with menu planning and ordering of food supplies
• Prepare and cook meals to order
• Assist in emergencies or rush periods and in the absence of the Executive Chef
• Strive for 100% resident satisfaction through presentation and taste
• Engage with residents during meal times to gather feedback
