Job summary

Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection on Alabama's Gulf Coast, is seeking a Culinary Supervisor to lead our Culinary Department. You will guide and train kitchen staff, ensure high-quality menu preparation, and uphold stringent safety standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will oversee staff training, quality control, timely service, and compliance with health regulations, while maintaining strong team relationships and operational efficiency across our nine dining

Responsibilities

• Staff Training & Supervision: Train and supervise kitchen staff in menu item prep, equipment use and safety measures.
• Quality Control: Inspect products before service to ensure quality and correct recipes are used.
• Timely Service: Maintain correct timing and pace so guests receive food promptly.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor production flow and adjust to maintain cost and quality controls.
• Food Safety Compliance: Ensure proper receiving, storage, labeling and dating per Health Department rules.
• Daily Taste Panels: Conduct taste tests to ensure dishes are well-seasoned.
