Job summary

The Overlook in Charlton, MA is seeking a Culinary Stock Receiver Associate to receive and account for all food and non-food goods for the Culinary Services department. You will maintain storage areas, ensure food safety, and perform weekly and monthly inventories to support high operational standards.

This role emphasizes loss prevention, accurate delivery inspection, proper labeling, and collaboration with Supervisory staff to protect residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in Culinary or related work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive a volume of goods daily and ensure accuracy, wholesomeness, proper labeling and dating.
• Communicate product availability, quality and location; assist with order placement inquiries.
• Evaluate deliveries for spoilage, damage and accuracy against orders.
• Collect invoices accurately and provide to supervisor.
• Perform daily stock inventories to aid ordering.
• Maintain organized storage and ensure FIFO rotations for safety.
• Serve as resource for Culinary Services, retrieving supplies and informing staff about par levels.
• Perform detailed cleaning of kitchens to maintain standards.
• Assist with serving meals to residents as needed.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Supervisory staff.
