Job summary

Compass Group USA's Restaurant Associates unit is seeking a Storeroom Attendant to manage receiving, storage and inventory of departmental supplies and food items, while maintaining sanitation in storage areas aligned with HACCP standards. This on-site role in East Boston offers full- and part-time schedules with a fixed pay rate of $23.00 per hour.

Candidates should have prior scratch kitchen experience or general kitchen knowledge, FIFO discipline, and the ability to obtain a Massport badge.

Qualifications

• Previous scratch kitchen experience preferred.
• Must have general kitchen and FIFO knowledge.
• Must be able to acquire a Massport badge.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores and inventories all departmental supplies and food.
• Maintains sanitation in storage areas.
• Maintains records and logs of storage temperatures for perishable items.
• Dates and rotates stock; ensures FIFO usage.
• Orders food and supplies per established protocols.
• Secures designated areas to prevent theft and follows security procedures.
• Transports food and supplies safely to ensure arrival in good condition.
• Follows HACCP guidelines for receiving and distribution of food supplies.
• Reports needed maintenance or repairs of equipment.
• Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Identifies and uses cleaning chemicals per MSDS and safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
