Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Stewarding Lead to oversee the Zoo's stewarding team, reporting to the Chef de Cuisine. This working lead position will direct dishwashers, set daily priorities, and coordinate with FOH, culinary, concessions, and event teams to ensure smooth operations across concessions and premium events.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coaching, accountability, and maintaining high sanitation standards in both main kitchen and concession areas, including during premium events.

Qualifications

• Experience leading stewarding/dishwashing teams.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety practices.
• Ability to coordinate with FOH, culinary, concessions and events teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and leadership to dishwashers and stewarding staff based on Chef de Cuisine priorities.
• Adjust staffing assignments and priorities in real time as needs change.
• Coordinate dishwasher break schedules to ensure appropriate breaks while maintaining coverage.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching and correction when necessary.
• Communicate performance, attendance, or concerns to the Chef de Cuisine.
• Lead by example with professionalism and adherence to sanitation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of stewarding areas and equipment.
