Mauna Kea Resort is seeking a Steward in the Culinary & Stewarding division to perform general cleaning and support the culinary team. The role involves transporting food and supplies to function areas, setting up and breaking down buffet lines, and maintaining sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas.

The position requires the ability to operate dishwashing equipment, handle heavy items, and work shifts as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment and store China, silverware, glassware, etc.
• Clean floors, walls, counters, mats, grills, etc. and kitchen equipment.
• Set-up chafers, sternos, utensils, etc. on buffet lines; break-down buffet lines.
• Load and transport food, equipment and supplies to function area.
• Polish all silverware, hollowware, chafing dishes, and other silver items etc.
