Job summary

The Press Club Grill in East Honolulu is seeking a Cook 2 to prepare hot and cold items from standardized recipes for the restaurant, room service, employee cafeteria and banquets, while upholding high standards of quality and safety.

You will help train other cooks, maintain clean, organized stations, follow hotel procedures, and support banquet and cafeteria service to ensure guests are served promptly and with consistent presentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Culinary experience required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work - up to 50 pounds, stand during shift, temperature variation handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold items per standardized recipes for all hotel outlets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and work areas.
• Assist in training other cooks and pantry staff.
• Prepare food for banquets and employee cafeteria as directed.
• Follow health, safety and hotel standards to ensure quality and efficiency.
