Maplewood Senior Living in Darien, CT, is seeking a Culinary Services Director to oversee daily dining operations and culinary services within a luxury senior living environment. You will lead menu planning, food quality, safety, and staff performance to deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
• 3 to 5 years previous experience in food production/management.
• Must have a Serve Safe certification or become certified within 90 days of hire date.
• Must have basic knowledge of food preparation procedures, proper dining room service etiquette as well as related Health Department regulations and guidelines pertaining to food service operations

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily dining and culinary operations, ensuring high quality service and safety standards.
• Develop weekly menus and manage food costs within the department budget.
• Recruit, train, and supervise culinary staff; monitor performance and conduct evaluations.
• Prepare monthly reporting and communicate with Executive Director and Dining staff.
