Job summary

New Perspective Senior Living, Cloquet, MN, is seeking a Culinary Services Director to lead the dining and food service operations across the community. You will oversee procurement, preparation, and service of meals, manage the department budget, and supervise staff while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining inventory, and fostering resident and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of regulations concerning food handling, storage, food preparation, safety and sanitation procedures.
• 3+ years of successful management experience.
• 4+ years experience as lead chef in a hospitality/restaurant environment.
• Culinary training and/or Dietary Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of dining services, procurement, preparation, and service.
• Oversee financial management of the department and supervise staff.
• Ensure safe food handling, sanitation, inventory control, and regulatory compliance.
• Engage residents and families; coach and develop team members.
