Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC in Minnesota seeks a Director of Culinary Services to lead the resident dining program. You will manage the Culinary Services Department, drive cost efficiency and high-quality service in a hotel-like dining setting.

You will develop an upscale, resident-focused menu program, supervise culinary staff, ensure food safety and sanitation, and participate in daily kitchen operations to maintain exceptional dining experiences for our communities.

Qualifications

• Provides leadership, development and oversight for the Culinary Services staff.
• Develops upscale Culinary Services program to create a positive resident experience.
• Staff are trained, properly uniformed and capable.
• Prepares high-quality recipes for fine dining experiences for residents.
• Participates in daily kitchen operations with speed, accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope management of the Culinary Services department.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive upscale dining program.
• Oversee staff training, uniforms and professional standards.
• Prepare and execute recipes for fine dining experiences.
• Participate in daily kitchen operations: cooking, serving and cleaning.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all cooking preparation and production areas.
