Job summary

New Perspective West Fargo is seeking a Director of Culinary Services to lead the food and beverage and dining programs across the community. You will oversee procurement, preparation, service, and the financial management of the department while ensuring safe handling, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.

You will recruit, train, and inspire kitchen and dining staff, engage residents and families, and uphold our resident-focused care model.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of regulations concerning food handling, storage, preparation, safety and sanitation procedures.
• 3+ years of successful management experience.
• 4+ years experience as lead chef in a hospitality/restaurant environment.
• Culinary training and/or Dietary Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of food, beverage and dining services operations.
• Oversee procurement, preparation and service of the food per the Menu Program.
• Manage department finances, supervision, and training of team members.
• Ensure safe food handling, sanitation, inventory and product rotation.
• Maintain accurate records and regulatory compliance and engage residents/families.
• Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills while developing staff.
