Job summary

Pioneer Ridge Independent Living in Kansas seeks a Culinary Services Director to oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house dining operations, including restaurant-style dining, coffee shop, pub, and catered events.

You will lead kitchen and dining staff, manage staffing and scheduling, ensure safety and sanitation, and plan menus and seasonal offerings, while responding to resident feedback and coordinating with corporate food service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–6 years related experience.
• Post-secondary culinary program certificate preferred.
• Proficient with common computer programs such as Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate kitchen, dining rooms, pub, and ancillary services per health and safety guidelines.
• Ensure daily food prep meets quality, taste, texture, and presentation.
• Coach and lead dietary staff to maintain high service levels.
• Maintain sanitation and safety across FOH/BOH and outlets.
• Manage food and beverage pars, inventories, and procurement.
• Staffing and scheduling for FOH and BOH with proper coverage.
• Address resident and family feedback on menus and features.
• Plan special events and seasonal menus.
