Job summary

New Perspective Salida Woods in Mentor, OH seeks a Director of Culinary Services to lead food, beverage and dining operations across the community. You’ll oversee procurement, menu execution, budgeting and staff development while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You will mentor, train and inspire kitchen and dining teams, ensuring high resident satisfaction through effective communication and organizational excellence.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of regulations concerning food handling, storage, safety and sanitation.
• 3+ years of successful management experience.
• 4+ years experience as lead chef in a hospitality/restaurant environment.
• Culinary training and/or Dietary Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of food, beverage and dining services operations.
• Oversee procurement, preparation and service of food per the Menu Program.
• Manage department finances, supervise and train team members.
• Ensure safe food handling, sanitation, inventory control and regulatory compliance.
