Job summary

The Waterford at Ironbridge is seeking a dedicated Culinary Services Cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals in a timely, sanitary kitchen. You will support the Dining Services Director in keeping a well-organized department and ensure high-quality dining for residents.

Responsibilities include meal preparation for assigned shifts, maintaining service standards, and assisting with efficient operations, cleaning, and proper handling of leftovers.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate per State/Local requirements.
• Experience and/or knowledge of volume meal preparation and serving for large groups.
• Some supervisory experience preferred; ability to read/understand recipes, work in a team, flexible shifts, multitask, and communicate effectively.

• Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining a well-organized and efficient Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains standards for dining services to Residents including efficient meal service delivery, customer service, and cleanliness of dining room and kitchen.
• Cleans after preparation and service; cleans work area, pots and equipment.
• Ensures leftovers are covered, labeled, dated and stored properly.
