Job summary

The Waterford at Ironbridge, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Culinary Service Assistant in Springfield, MO. This role involves serving residents in the dining room, assisting in food preparation, and maintaining sanitation standards within a senior living setting.

You will contribute to a friendly dining atmosphere, handle snack replenishment, and support daily dining operations while adhering to safety guidelines and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining room service or similar role.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for residents and performs assigned tasks in cleaning up, washing dishes and setting up dining areas.
• Prepares and serves snacks including replenishing stock items in refreshment centers for residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards to comply with regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.

Culinary Service AssistantResponsibilities include:

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for the residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.

Qualifications:

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve (12) plus years of education, Highschool Diploma or GED preferred
